The processing of iron ore involves several stages, including screening to separate fine particles, crushing and stockpiling to prepare for further processing, reclaiming material for consistent feeding into the mill, and grinding to reduce the ore to the desired size.
After grinding, spiral gravity separation is used to concentrate the ore further, followed by magnetic separation to increase the iron content to the desired level for the final product.
Alternatively, following crushing, dense media separation can be used to prepare the final product.
Each step is designed to optimize the efficiency of the process and the quality of the output.
